lyrics

are we restricted by where we live? can we not just reconcile? find a job and become addicted? these streets are contradicted.

the same people the same faces. familiarity is killing me. disparaged for aspiration. nothing but accumulation.

don't tell me you know right from wrong when you're still here singing your same old song; i will go out and hear the drum that tells me there's better days to come.

black slates and a darkened shadow. by the river the bones are gathered. boys say their prayers tonight. as girls are flailing to the morning light.

adventure in the town this evening. i shattered silence by barely speaking. tell some tales of arguments. the best night i ever spent.

don't tell me you know right from wrong when you're still here singing your same old song; i will go out and hear the drum that tells me there's better days to come.

throw some shit see where it sticks. i guess i'm the recipient. ambition isn't my life. three cheers for being satisfied.
